Join filmmaker Cathryn Davis Zommer for a screening of Fully Awake, the story of Black Mountain College, a radical educational experiment that brought some of the 20th century’s most creative people to the mountains of North Carolina. Teachers or students included Franz Kline, John Cage, Buckminster Fuller, Merce Cunningham, Jacob Lawrence, Willem de Kooning and Mary Caroline (M. C.) Richards.
