Our lives consist of millions of
stories, both ordinary and extraordinary. Join Allison Kirkland as she shows
you how to craft those stories into compelling personal narratives. Using
creative prompts, this six-week series will cover such topics as: getting
started, voice, situation vs. story, and editing. Participants will have the
opportunity to share their work in a supportive but challenging workshop
setting. Please bring a computer, iPad or spiral-bound notebook for in-class
exercises. October 5, 12, 19 26;
